We are looking for a Legal Assistant to join our friendly Conveyancing team in Richmond or Lymington office. The role involves providing support to 1 or more Conveyancing fee earners in our busy high street office, so good organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise work is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also important as candidates will be required to communicate regularly and professionally with clients and stakeholders. Proven experience in accuracy and attention to detail is important as the role will involve completion of legal documents and the use of our online case management systems.
The ideal candidates will have similar previous working experience and possess a good working knowledge of conveyancing legal work.
Key Skills Required:
- Good working knowledge of Conveyancing legal work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to prioritise work and confidence to work within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enjoys working independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptable attitude to work
- IT literate in Excel and Outlook
- Working knowledge of case management systems & online systems
Working Pattern:
The role is permanent and full-time (37.5 hours / 5 days per week), although part-time hours would be considered. No weekend working.
