We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy property department. You will support conveyancers and solicitors in managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of conveyancing files
- Preparing and sending out legal documents and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
- Carrying out searches and reviewing results
- Updating case management systems and maintaining accurate records
- Handling post-completion tasks, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
About You:
- Previous experience in a conveyancing role is preferred
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency with case management systems and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and client-focused attitude
