GXO are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Continuous Improvement Manager to lead and embed a culture of operational excellence across our M&S site in Stoke. This role is pivotal in identifying opportunities for process optimisation, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering a mindset of continuous improvement at all levels.
The role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work Monday to Friday, office hours, although some flexibility is required to work with all shifts across the operation – this is logistics after all!

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Identify & facilitate process and system improvement projects, training and workshops to drive cultural change, improve efficiencies, reduce cost, increase customer satisfaction and deliver the CI cost saving target
- Communicate progress updates utilising appropriate communication methods, ensuring relevant information is shared across the site at all levels
- Work with the finance manager to agree baseline, assumptions, improvement methodology, trial results and embed results once approval received
- Calculate and track all improvements demonstrating impact on productivity rate, cost benefit etc
- Create and maintain a positive team culture, by actively encouraging involvement from all to improve employee engagement
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Proven experience in a continuous improvement or operational excellence role within a warehouse environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to lead change and influence at all levels of the organisation
