Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Construction Admin to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our construction projects through effective administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in data entry, and a solid understanding of office management practices.
Duties
- Perform accurate data entry for project documentation and records.
- Manage incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring effective communication with clients and team members.
- Organise and maintain electronic and physical files to ensure easy access to project information.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, coordinating appointments, and managing calendars for project managers.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organised office environment to promote productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Google Suite applications.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with office management practices and procedures.
- Competent in using various computerised systems for documentation and reporting.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
