We are looking for an organised, detail-orientated, and guest focused Conference and Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of exceptional events. In this role, you will be responsibile for coordinating conferences, meetings, and banquets, ensuring a seamless experience for clients from initial inquiry to event completion.

Your role
As a Conference and Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth organization of each event by liaising with clients, coordinating logistics, and working closely with the sales and operations teams.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Managing client inquiries, providing detailed information, and guiding them through the event planning process
- Coordinating all event logistics, including room setups, catering requirements, and audiovisual needs
- Preparing event proposals, contracts, and function sheets to ensure smooth execution
- Liaising with internal teams, including food & beverage, banqueting, and operations, to ensure all event details are met
- Conducting site visits and meetings with prospective clients to showcase event spaces and services
- Assisting with event-related administration, including invoicing, deposits, and post-event follow-ups
- Handling last-minute changes and ensuring all client requests are accommodated where possible
- Supporting the Conference and Banqueting Sales team in driving event revenue
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Previous experience in event coordination, sales, or hospitality is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with strong administrative and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is desirable
- A proactive and guest-focused approach with a passion for delivering exceptional events
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules
