Duties
- Assist in the preparation of concrete mixes according to specifications.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using hand tools and machinery.
- Setting up and cleaning down concrete pumps
- Laying and finishing concrete
- Equipment maintenance
- Finish surfaces of poured concrete using various techniques to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Clean-up work sites by removing debris and ensuring all tools are stored properly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience in concrete work or general labor in construction is preferred.
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong commitment to safety practices on job sites.
