Motive8 Youth looking for new an ambitious volunteers to join our Community Champions volunteer Programme within the Wolverhampton community.
Our programme is looking to provide 16-25 year old with the opportunity to get into coaching/ community based rolls, Via volunteering at some of our Motive8 Youth weekly or termly activity session.
At motive8 youth we aspire to grow our own community with many successful volunteers coming through our previous programmes seeking employment with ourselves or within the work of sport. Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to develop and foster their transferable inter-personal skills and attributes along with further coaching and employability skills.
Pay:
Paid work is subject to the participants success of the volunteer programme. There is a tier system In place which allows volunteers to up skill themselves whilst working towards the final tier of potential paid employment.
Volunteer tasks may consist of:
Helping set up and pack away equipment for activities.
Helping officiate games/ activities for Young people.
Reporting any hazards/incidents to your supervisor/ lead coach
Meeting/ communicating with one of our volunteer programme leaders (This may consist of personal targets, work availability, absences, general thoughts and perceptions/ ideas for activities)
Shadowing a coach or supervisor.
initiating warm up/ starter activities for Young people.
Leading small group activities ( whilst being supervised)
