Full-Time Clinical Trainer – Join the Team Raising Standards in Care!

Location:
Nationwide travel, based from Stoke-on-Trent office
Hours: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week (typically 9am – 5pm)
Salary: £40,000
Contract Type: Permanent, Employed

You’re experienced, probably a bit fed up with employers who overpromise and underdeliver — and you want to do meaningful work with a company that values your time, talent, and wellbeing.
We get it — that’s why this is a full-time, permanent trainer role with the resources, admin support, and structure to let you focus on what you do best: engaging, safe, high-quality training. Here’s a role that’s rewarding, stable, and ready for you to start a new career in 2025.

What are we looking for?

An experienced Clinical trainer who enjoys passing on their up-to-date knowledge to learners of different levels and experience.

Why is this important?

For many reasons, your time is ultimately valuable, and if we are not a good fit for you after reading the job description part, we wouldn’t want to take up any more of your time.

You’ll be teaching essential subjects such as:

  • Venepuncture
  • Suction and Oxygen
  • Tracheostomy
  • Catheterisation
  • Syringe Driver
  • Cough Assist

Requirements

You must be:

  • Confident in your communication skills to be able to teach a variety of different levels of staff within a health and social care and Reliable - we highly value the efforts it takes our customers to arrange training with their team. We cannot work with individuals who don’t value our customers’ time and let us down.
  • IT literate - you must be able to use email, Zoom, WhatsApp, team calendar (only office staff can access what is entered). Using online forms such as a register, and request forms for hotel stays and equipment if needed.
  • Excellent time management - we ask all trainers to inform us 2 working days in advance in case paperwork has yet to arrive. This allows us to sort it out for the smooth running of courses. We provide all paperwork and course materials.
  • Have experience- working within a Health and Social Care or Clinical setting and have hands-on practical and theory subject knowledge as well as previous teaching experience.
  • Adaptable and flexible - sometimes the postman is late, and we must think on our feet using all our experience; sometimes projectors don't work, but there is still a class of eager delegates waiting for an enjoyable and informative session. You must be experienced in both subject and training because from time to time, you need to work with what is available, and that may be just your knowledge and a flipchart - this should not result in a negative experience for trainers or delegates.
  • Have experience with completing documentation accurately and sending it in by the end of the training session. This is the class register and trainer evaluation forms etc.

You’ll be a core part of our permanent team, with full-time support and structured training delivery. Consider what you would want in a trainer if you were a delegate, or if your loved one requires care and support, who would you want to train the staff? This is the trainer we want.

Essentials:

  • Full driving license and use of own vehicle
  • Registered Doctor or Nurse with valid NMC/GMC
  • Minimum PTLLS / AET or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Able to travel across the UK (We always try to make training regional)
  • Enjoys training and meeting new people
  • Ability to work with our processes
  • 1+ year experience delivering training
  • 3+ years with solid, hands-on experience.

You made it this far – you’re obviously an excellent trainer!
