Female Clinical Skills Trainer (RGN)

24-40 hours per week salary from £44,980 pro rata (Negotiable, depending on experience)

We focus on ensuring the best outcomes for those we support, and we are looking for an experienced Female Clinical Skills Trainer to join our passionate team.

This role is Hybrid - office based in Thirsk & On-Site Care Settings across North Yorkshire.

As a Clinical Skills Trainer, you’ll be pivotal in equipping our care teams with the knowledge and clinical skills needed to deliver exceptional, safe, and compassionate care. Your role will involve delivering training, developing care plans, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. By sharing your expertise, you will help us maintain compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and improve the lives of individuals with complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical training on a range of healthcare topics to professional carers, ensuring their understanding of best practice in care delivery.
  • Develop engaging, high-quality blended learning solutions that meet legislative requirements and address the individual needs of those we support.
  • Play an active role in creating and reviewing care plans that are aligned with both the needs of individuals and CQC regulations.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to ensure that the care provided by our teams continues to improve.
  • Ensure that all training and care services adhere to current legislation and Brightening Lives' policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in training within the healthcare sector, particularly in training professional carers.
  • Recognised teaching, training, or assessing qualification.
  • Solid clinical practice experience in a relevant field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
