1 x Civils Supervisor - To be based around the Cheshire/ Stoke on Trent area & be willing to work away.
We seeking a hands on civils supervisor, with a good range of experience, as well as experience in working away from home. (Please keep in mind, this role includes working away as required)
The ideal candidate is a motivated and ambitious individual who is committed to adhering to strict health and safety regulations. Reliability and a willingness to grow with the company are essential qualities for this role. This role has a genuine opportunity for progression within the business.
Start finish times depends on the work. As a guideline Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm but this will depend on the type of work, location and time of the year
Job Overview
We are looking for a competent and experienced working Civils Supervisor to travel and work nationally throughout the UK. The Civils Supervisor is responsible for supervising/completing civils work including earthworks, excavations, trenches, concreting, slab work, kerbing and all other groundwork activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in civils/groundworks, ideally with a focus on drainage
- Strong knowledge of civils standards, safety standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in reading site drawings and completing work to specification.
- Hands-on experience with civils and groundworks. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excavator, dumper and roller ticket for both Supervisor and operative.
- SMSTS or SSSTS for Supervisor (or willingness to complete).
- CSCS card.
- Driving licence.
- First aid at work (or willingness to complete).
- Confined spaces (or willingness to complete).
- Proficiency in applications for site reporting.
- Ability to travel within the UK as required.
- Experience in flagging and paving works.
- Experience in concrete and tarmac works.
- Experience in drainage installations and tank installations.
- Experience in fencing
