JN Civils is a leading name in the UK utilities sector, committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. As we continue to grow and enhance our operations, we are seeking a dedicated Lead Assessor to join our team on the Openreach contract. This role will report directly to the HR Manager and plays a crucial part in supporting our mission by ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance. The position is based between our office in Blackpool and our training facility in Worsley with occasional travel to other sites in the UK as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with the Lead Assessor, gather and analyse information to determine training gaps across all contracts
- Working from our Worsley Training Centre, deliver training units for our Openreach contract delivering training such as SA006, FCFW1, FCCW1, BB1M, Q025, Q020, K8 etc. providing internal certifications of completion
- Delivery internal training programmes for trainings across the business such as Abrasive Wheels, First Aid, Vehicle Banksman etc. providing internal certifications of completion
- Manage the recharging process for subcontractors working with the Training Coordinator
- Design internal processes related to the training function
- Work with the Regional HSE&Q Manager to develop adhoc training highlighting any issues raised on site
- Work with the Senior Management Team to provide expertise in the designing and identifying of training gaps throughout the business
- Any other work as directed by the Line Manager
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Training qualification/s to enable you to deliver in-house training
- Proven experience in a similar role with experience in the Utilities Sector
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the organization
- IT skills on internal systems and Microsoft Office packages
