Are you passionate about working with children and eager to build a meaningful career in early years education? JC Little Explorers is looking for a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Nursery Apprentice in our OFSTED-regulated nursery.
What You'll Do:
As a Nursery Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced childcare professionals, gaining hands-on experience while studying towards your Level 3 Childcare qualification. You'll be supporting children’s learning and development through play, helping to create a warm, safe and stimulating environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the daily care and supervision of children aged 0–5
- Supporting planned activities to promote child development
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing setting
- Observing and recording children’s progress under supervision
- Working towards your Level 3 qualification with dedicated study time and support
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- A positive, caring and patient attitude
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Good communication skills and a team-player mentality
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred but not essential
