Job Summary
Due to our expanding numbers we are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, engaging environment. As a Childcare Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing the daily activities of children, ensuring their well-being, and fostering their development through play and structured learning.
Duties
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Communicate effectively with children to encourage their expression and understanding.
- Manage daily routines including meal times, nap times, and playtime while ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organised environment that is conducive to learning and exploration.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in childcare is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A background in nursery settings is advantageous.
- A genuine love for children and a commitment to their growth and well-being is essential.
