As a CCTV Operative, you'll deliver an efficient and high-quality CCTV control room service, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
Operating and monitoring CCTV, access control and other security systems in an effective manner.
Responding and reacting to any incidents or security issues that may arise.
Recording all events and actions monitored, produce written reports on incidents and ensure follow on action is undertaken.
Liaising with internal departments to proactively address anti-social behaviour, crime and environmental issue.
Working along side emergency services and other security providers to maintain safety and security of our schemes and customers.
Please be advised that our CCTV control room operates between 6.00pm and 8:00am, 365 days a year. This is a part time role, working 21 hours on a 2 shifts on, 6 shifts off rota basis. Shift times are 6pm-6am and 8pm-8am, you must be able to work both shifts to be considered for the role.
Our ideal candidate?
You'll be registered as a SIA Public Surveillance (CCTV) license holder.
You'll have demonstrable experience of public space surveillance.
You'll be able to work in a team and independently, with excellent problem solving skills.
You'll have personal resilience and the ability to manage difficult situations.
