The Role:

This internationally traveling role will play a crucial role in supporting the FE Catering team in administrative and operational duties driving efficiency during both the planning phase and onsite at events.

  • Project planning champion: Provide crucial pre-season support for contractor onboarding, document management (forms, rotas, templates), and ongoing administrative tasks including event documentation, meeting support, and minute-taking.
  • Race planning collaboration: Facilitate race planning through liaison with internal departments (Premium Experience, Accreditation, Finance, Health & Safety, Sporting) and external catering partners and suppliers. Act as a point of contact for the catering contractor team, managing queries and supporting logistics for uniforms, travel, and equipment.
  • Catering support superstar: Oversee guest menu formatting, ensuring accurate allergen information. Support the Senior Catering Manager with budget control, including raising purchase orders, tracking expenditure, and reconciling post-race finances. Manage the meal booking system, compile pre/post-race reports, and handle general inbox queries.
  • Driver of on-site operations & accreditation: Serve as the Catering team's accreditation officer, ensuring proper site access for all contractors and suppliers during races. Provide on-site support to the Catering Manager for all hospitality catering (including EMOTION CLUB, Race Suites, ancillary events), Team & Crew catering, Team garage catering, and Media centre catering.
  • Administration & problem solving: Assist with the planning and delivery of Partner & Sponsor products (e.g., beer, champagne). Engage in on-site problem-solving to ensure successful race delivery, managing delivery schedules and receipts, and handling last-minute requests.
  • Health & Safety compliance: Support the review and collation of all HACCP, Health and Safety, and Food Safety documents and procedures from catering partners on site, in collaboration with the Technical and H&S Manager and Senior Health and Safety Manager. Ensure adherence to all relevant Health & Safety regulations for race locations.

What we're looking for in you:


  • Experienced catering planner: Proven experience in catering planning & operations for large scale, green field events would be beneficial.
  • International event awareness: International event experience, along with motorsports experience would be beneficial.
  • Analytical minded: This role is 80% administration, 20% operations, so an analytical mind and familiarity of mainstream IT software is essential.
  • Passion for F&B: Must possess a creative flare, a passion for F&B, operational excellence.
  • Collaborative skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in working with different teams to foster strong working relationships.
  • International travel: Must be able travel to all of our Formula E races, which will require you to work weekends and outside of your regular working hours.
