Bar Staff (casual zero hours) STARTING SEPTEMBER

About the opportunity
Luctonians is a thriving multi sports community club and charity, which aims to provide all levels of sporting and recreational activity to the local area. To assist in funding the provision of sport, the club require a strong commercial arm, which includes generating revenues via events, functions and sponsorship. Luctonians are looking for an individuals to work within their events team and take on the role of Bar staff.
The main responsibilities for the Bar Staff will be to:
- Perform Bar Service duties from serving drinks and snacks, to glass collecting, cleaning and basic stock control.
- Perform food service duties from Hot cupboard.
- Taking orders and payments using our epos till system.
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
- Assist in Setting up and preparing the Clubhouse, Kitchen and Bar correctly for a variety of functions and events.
- Carrying out instruction given to them by manager/supervisor and helping out in other area’s when required.
- Ensure that relevant legislation (licensing laws etc.) is adhered to.
Essential Personal Qualities & Experience
· Flexible to work under pressure and during unsociable hours.
· Exceptional communicator with both customers and internally with other staff.
· Preparedness to undertake routine cleaning and tidying tasks on a regular basis.
· Self starter that is motivated to work without prompting and uses own initiative.
· Possesses excellent customer service skills

Role demands
· The Bar Staff role is a zero hour contract.
· You will need to have a flexible approach to working. Shifts available Saturday and Sunday Morning/Afternoon.

Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
