Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, materials handling, and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in fabrication and assembly, along with proficiency in CAD software.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and fabrication processes.
- Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to improve production processes.
- Utilise hand tools and equipment for assembly tasks as required.
- Perform materials handling duties, including the movement of raw materials and finished products within the warehouse.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process, implementing effective solutions promptly.
Skills
- Proficient in CAD software for designing and programming CNC machines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of logic controllers.
- Experience in fabrication techniques is an advantage.
- Familiarity with various hand tools used in machining and assembly tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment, demonstrating attention to detail in materials handling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting machinery issues.
