What You'll Do:
As a Care Worker, you’ll support people in their homes and/or care settings with:
- Personal care – bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Supporting movement and use of mobility aids
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
- Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversation
- Monitoring mood or behaviour changes and reporting concerns
- Promoting safety, infection control, and safeguarding
- Using your own or a company vehicle to attend care visits
Who We're Looking For:
Essential:
- Empathetic, patient, and genuinely passionate about care
- Clear, respectful communicator – verbal and non-verbal
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent, UK or overseas)
- Prior experience with personal care and support tasks
- Full UK or international driving licence
- Willing to complete a structured 12-week training and mentoring programme
- Own car with valid business-use insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Desirable:
- Experience in domiciliary, hospital or residential care
- Knowledge of medication support, dementia care, or mental health
- Familiarity with CQC standards or Skilled Worker sponsorship processes
- Long-term interest in progressing within the care sector
