About the role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant (Nights/Days) to join our team at Newgate Lodge Care Home. If you have a passion for caring and want to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, we’d love to hear from you! No experience? No problem – we provide full training and support to help you develop in your role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and mealtimes
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents
- Work as part of a team to create a warm and caring environment
- Follow care plans and ensure residents’ dignity, choice, and independence
- Ensure compliance with CQC and Local Authority guidelines

- A kind, caring, and patient nature
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided!

Shift Pattern:
Working 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM on a rota basis rota includes weekends. Additional shifts available to cover annual leave and sickness.
Additional Information:
The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide satisfactory references before starting employment.
