Your primary focus will be on assisting clients with their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities, ensuring safety at all times.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as necessary, adhering to any dietary requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of care plans and client progress.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
Skills
- Previous experience in home care or a care home environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Proficiency in IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
