Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join Euro Foods Group. You will be providing breakfast and lunch services for our production facility and office based staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, as well as the ability to create new menu items while working with management.
Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Create a fully costed menu, ideally with an Asian theme, for the provision of breakfast and lunch.
- Ensure the canteen is achieving sales targets to ensure ongoing operation.
Skills
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in supervising kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Level 3 Food Safety
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 0700am-1500pm.
- 28 days holiday incl. bank holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
