Job Description:
As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of service when bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. You will work closely with the service team to schedule appointments, provide accurate estimates, explain the repair process, and ensure a smooth experience for our customers from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and discuss their vehicle issues, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Schedule service appointments and manage customer expectations regarding timeframes and costs.
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
- Communicate effectively with the service technicians to relay customer concerns and ensure proper handling of issues.
- Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle’s service and any additional work required.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and transactions.
- Ensure a clean and organised service area, adhering to dealership standards.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to promote any relevant offers or services to customers.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role, ideally within the automotive industry preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering top-notch service.
- A valid driver’s license preferred but not essential.
