Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing customer enquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including dining areas, kitchen, and storage spaces.
- Support catering operations by preparing food items for events and ensuring timely delivery.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A keen interest in food preparation and restaurant operations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
