Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a keen interest in food preparation and service. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service while enjoying their meals and beverages.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare food and cook using a merry chef oven
- Prep ingredients and organise stock levels
- Cleaning of oven and equipment
- End of day cleaning
- Multi task if required to help in other areas of the cafe operation
- Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is advantageous.
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: Up to £12.30 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
