We are looking for someone to join our team .Cafe experience preferred but not essential . Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of food items in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including dining spaces and kitchen.
- Serve customers efficiently, taking orders and providing recommendations when needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic maths skills are applied for processing payments.
- Support the team in managing inventory levels, restocking supplies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly regarding food safety.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive atmosphere for both staff and customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential.
- Understanding of food safety practices is required; relevant training will be provided.
- Basic maths skills to handle transactions and manage stock effectively.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- A friendly disposition with a willingness to help both customers and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
