Hubka is a small, prestigious company established in 2005. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated part time Cabinet Maker or Bench Joiner to work with us 3 days per week. You will have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail, capable of crafting high-quality furniture. This role involves working with various materials and tools to create custom pieces that meet client specifications. You will be responsible for the making and assembly of products, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards within the agreed timescale.
Duties
- Interpret technical drawings and cutting lists accurately.
- Make and assemble furniture components using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and cabinet assembly processes.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to problem solve independently.
- Effective time management and able to work to agreed deadlines.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- A driving licence and own transport is essential.
