About the role
Due to continued growth, we are looking for additional team members. As a Butchery Operative, you will be part of a warm and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring all products in the Butchery Department are packaged whilst meeting high standards and quality ready for delivery. You will possess a can-do attitude, be an effective team player, have great attention to detail, and be able to work in an organised, methodical and professional manner.
Responsibilities will include:
- Metal detecting
- Boxing and labelling
- Collating of orders ready for delivery
- Cleaning
- Bagging of burgers, vacuum packing and making up boxes with orders
- Completion of paperwork around collation area
- Inputting weights into the computer and updating spreadsheets
The successful candidate will have:
- Good attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Able to work within a fast-paced Butchery environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Good written skills and basic computer admin skills
- Positive and calm approach to work
