About The Role
Brand New Role – 6 Month Fixed Contract - Birmingham / Warwick Hybrid Working - Permanent

As Business Operations Co-ordinator, you’ll be joining our PPMO team of around 70 which is growing every year.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the management and operations of PPMO team, driving forward key initiatives and support in the management and development of the function.
You will work across several high-profile transformation and change projects for Strategic Infrastructure, supporting the team to successfully improve ways of working in Strategic Infrastructure, covering strategy, set-up, optimisation and delivery.
This new role provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and high performing individual to deliver key outputs that will positively impact the operations of a growing PPMO team and support the links into the rest of the Strategic infrastructure (SI) teams.
This role is based at our Warwick and Birmingham offices and we continue to offer hybrid working from office and home.
Leveraging this hybrid working, this team current work typically work around 2 days per week in the office, which is dependent on personal and business needs.

- Demonstrable computer literacy in Office 365 applications, diagramming tools such as Visio, online whiteboarding tools such as Miro, team collaboration tools such as Slack, Microsoft Teams or specialist controls & performance software tools such as Oracle Primavera, PRISM, Power BI or similar
- Experience working with and supporting leadership teams operating in complex environments, providing strong communication and quality reporting.
- The ability to partner with senior leadership colleagues, lending strong commercial acumen.

What You'll Do
- You’ll contribute to the assessment of current challenges / pain points of the PPMO team (and across SI) and support in utilising a structured approach and plan to discover, deliver and implement key priorities that is fit for purpose and enables the benefits and outcomes desired.
- Supporting key activities within the PPMO team, you’ll promote SI-wide development of change initiatives and approaches.
- You will support the definition, Analysis and write-up of various executive updates, reports and papers for all PPMO functions.
- Supporting the PPMO senior leadership with the identification of shared objectives between different functions of PPMO, you’ll initiate collaboration opportunities to increase efficacy and reduce duplication of effort
Additionally you’ll help manage performance metrics, support the delivery of workshops and help manage budgets and resourcing, ensuring that goals and financial plans are met consistently.
What You'll Get
A competitive salary between £50,000 – £60,000 dependent on capability.
