Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, blocks, and stone in accordance with specifications and drawings.
- Construct walls, arches, and other structures with precision.
- Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Mix mortar and other materials as required for construction tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout the duration of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bricklayer or in a similar role within construction.
- Strong knowledge of bricklaying techniques and materials.
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A valid CSCS card
