Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software Xero is essential for this role. The Bookkeeper will play a crucial part in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the overall success of the organisation.
Duties
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process accounts payable, including invoice verification and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare financial reports and assist in budgeting processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong numerical skills and analytical thinking.
- A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential.
