We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals
- Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to suppliers
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial reports for management review
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits
- Provide support in the implementation of new accounting software
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
