ABUHB Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) would love you to join our dynamic and innovative service. FLS is a new service based out of Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr (YYF) the current team compromises of 2 full time CNS and Admin support
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and conscientious team member who will be based out of Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr on a 12 month secondment to support the needs of this expanding service.
Main duties of the job
This role supports FLS service across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board booking patients into appointments and providing administrative support to the wider team.
We require someone who has excellent communication, administrative, clerical and IT skills to become a member of this dynamic team. You will be part of a small team and will work collaboratively with the Business Support Officer and the head of service. You will need to demonstrate the ability to prioritise your own workload and show initiative to ensure that lean working is carried out across the service.
Knowledge of internal NHS systems such as WPAS and CWS is desirable, but training can be provided to the successful candidate

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 12 months due to funding. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

- Good Standard of education to level of GCSE or NVQ equivalent.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems, some of which are non-routine activities such as answering queries, progress chasing, task related problem solving through experience and training to vocational level 3 or demonstrable experience.
