Salary: 36,000 to 38,000 depending on experience
40 hours per week. Monday to Friday. 7am to 4pm.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Bodyshop Prepper to join our team at the Avonmouth Preparation Centre. In this vital role, youll help us maintain the highest cosmetic standards on our vehicle stock, ensuring every car is showroom-ready before it hits the sales floor.

Key responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality panel beating, filler work, and cosmetic repairs as required.
- Remove and refit vehicle parts to support seamless repair work.
- Work across a variety of makes and models, adapting to different body types and specifications.
- Dismantle and rebuild vehicles according to job instructions and quality standards.
- Carry out prep work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Inspect completed work to ensure there are no cosmetic or structural defects.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity targets without compromising on quality.
- Work independently or as part of a small, collaborative team to meet deadlines.
Person Specification:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar Bodyshop Prepper or vehicle repair role.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results under time pressure.
- Good knowledge of bodywork preparation, filler application, and sanding techniques.
- Ability to supply your own tools (specialist equipment provided).
- Full UK driving licence is desirable.
- Strong team player with the motivation to work independently when required.
- Prior experience working to efficiency or productivity targets is a strong advantage.
