Job Description:
As a Bistro Team Member, you’ll be the face of our bistro, interacting with customers and ensuring they have a great time from the moment they walk through the door. Whether you’re taking orders, serving food, or helping behind the scenes, your positive attitude and commitment to excellent service will make a big difference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide menu recommendations. Ensure customers feel welcome and satisfied throughout their visit.
- Food Service: Serve food and beverages quickly and accurately. Handle food and drinks with care, following all health and safety standards.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining areas, counters, and restrooms. Assist with cleaning duties before, during, and after service hours.
- Teamwork: Work closely with your fellow team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Help with various tasks as needed to keep things running efficiently.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and other payment methods with care.
- Problem-Solving: Address customer concerns or special requests promptly and with a positive attitude. Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus, but not required.
- Friendly, approachable, and eager to provide excellent service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A passion for food and hospitality is a big plus!
