Dodd Group are looking for a new Bid Administrator to assist the existing coordinator to manage daily executive tasks and critical communications. The position is a hybrid role with 3-days in the Solihull office and 2-days working from home.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing the bid team inbox, filtering essential communication and disseminating to relevant personnel and departments
- Monitoring of contract notice platforms (Contracts Advance, CDP, Contracts Finder) to identify new opportunities and longlist for bid/no bid process
- Collecting tender packs from online portals and distributing to relevant departments/personnel
- Collating data and documentation needed to support bid responses
- Managing tender clarifications and maintaining clarification logs
- Arranging/attending meetings, note taking, presenting
- Assisting with the completion of DPS applications and company selection questionnaires
- Providing support to key individuals across the business, e.g. completion of company information questionnaires, employee of the month nominations, support with production of newsletters
- Assisting in stakeholder engagement: liaising with local communities, subcontractors, and clients to ensure social value commitments are met
- Collaborating with different departments: attending meetings to understand needs and requirements
Necessary Skills
- Organisational and time management skills are vital, due to the multi-tasking nature of the position
- Strong communication skills
- Problem solving and logical thinking
- A good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- A keen eye for detail to provide proofreading and editorial support
