EP Group – Bendi Driver
EP Group is an award winning, global packaging manufacturer with production facilities across Europe and South East Asia.
Our global headquarters in Birmingham is home to our dedicated paper manufacturing division providing a wide range of food packaging products for the likes of McDonalds, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.
We are now seeking a Bendi Driver to be based within the dedicated equipment VNA warehouse onsite in Yardley, Birmingham.
Role Purpose – Bendi Driver
- The Bendi Driver will undertake a number of key and general warehouse duties to service the customer.
Key Responsibilities - Bendi Driver
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Order picking and checking (full pallets, and single items, of bulky/non-bulky products)
- Processing, checking and putaway of stocks in a VNA environment
- Stocktaking and replenishment
- Sortation of and the separation of store closure items for good, bad and refurbishment stocks. Segregating and processing as required
- Other general warehouse duties.
- Maintain a safe and tidy dedicated equipment warehouse
- Adhere to processes and meet set KPIs
- Working with the account team to identify what products should come into stock
- Working with account team & transport to arrange the collection of equipment from store
- Timely sortation of product either into stocked items or product resale or recycling
- Using QB or Excel to document UPCs and quantities for booking into stock
- Liaising with stock controller to arrange for nil value purchase orders to be raised
- Liaising with main warehouse to secure booking in slots for transfers to high-bay
- Booking of skips and documenting collections
- Accurate recording of resource for cost capture
- Maintaining / improvement of Standard Operating Procedures
Key Requirements – Bendi Driver
- Must possess one of the following in date and relevant MHE Licences in either VNA (Mandatory) OR Bendi Truck
- Counter Balance and PPT would also be beneficial
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working within a warehouse environment
- Experience/Knowledge to in-store Equipment based products (advantageous)
- English & Maths – GCSE/O Level standard
- Excellent attention to detail
- Be able to work as a conscientious team player or under own initiative
- Be capable of heavy lifting
- Flexible with hours of work
- Willingness to adapt to a multitude of different warehouse duties and tasks
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.21 per hour
