Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bathroom Fitter for an Immediate start for the right candidate to provide cover within our team at Nick Taylor Plumbing Limited. This is initially a short-term role to ensure we maintain high standards and meet customer commitments, with the possibility of a longer-term position for the right candidate.
We are open to applications from self-employed tradespeople or those seeking an employed role.
Responsibilities
- Installation of first fix and second fix plumbing, fitting various plumbing fixtures, including basins, toilets, bath, showers and wet rooms.
- Carry out general building work, carpentry, tiling and flooring involved in bathroom installation.
- Read and interpret schematics / technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
- Collect materials from suppliers as needed for specific projects.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Customer service and politeness is crucial.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the installation process.
- Assist with repairs and maintenance as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role within the plumbing or construction industry.
- Strong skills in the building industry and installation techniques.
- Full knowledge of using power tools and equipment safely.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plastering is an advantage but not essential.
