As our Bar Supervisor you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of brand standards, be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.

Key responsibilities for the Bar Supervisor are;

  • Supply and ensure the highest possible level of guest care and service to the guests; internal and external.
  • Complete some administrative functions (e.g.time sheets, stock and equipment counts, training)
  • Maintain staffing levels within agreed budget targets - controlling wage costs, holiday schedules and work rotas
  • Oversee multiple outlets ensuring that service delivery is maintained at all times
  • Have a full knowledge and promote the hotel's facilities, services and company products
  • Support the implementation of new procedures, practices and standards where applicable
  • Support with the ordering, receipt, storage and security, requisition and issue of all items sold/served, together with cleaning materials and other sundry items
  • Undertake Duty Management shifts as required and all associated tasks
  • Monitor the standards of work, working practices, productivity and standards of customer care of all employees within the department.
  • Comply with all aspects of ‘Alcohol Licensing’ regulations.


The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience of working within a hotel or restaurant operation, ideally in a 4 star environment
  • Be able to deliver excellent customer service at all times and train others to follow a similar example
  • Be smart and professional in appearance with a "can do" attitude and excellent communication skills


The Essential Skills:

  • Have previous proven experience in a 4 star hotel or a similar high quality environment
  • Has a passion and commitment to quality and customer service
  • Well organised and structured in your approach
