We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to deliver exceptional service and maintain a clean, organised workspace will contribute significantly to our café's success.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Ensure all food and beverage items are prepared in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the café.
- Participate in food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is required.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- A friendly disposition with a passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 28 per week
