Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer service. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and provide support as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista is required.
- Someone who can make Flat whites, cappuccino, lattes etc confidently and in a fast paced environment!
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Also must be available to work flexible days and hours.
- Someone who is confident, hardworking and reliable.
- You will also learn how to do some kitchen prep such as making salads and filled baguettes etc.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
