We are looking for summer barista /Waiter
you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing outstanding service, assisting with menu selections, and ensuring that all dining needs are met. Your passion for hospitality and culinary knowledge will contribute to creating memorable moments for our guests.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations and upselling menu items.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently while handling cash and card transactions.
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables, as well as maintaining an organised dining area.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent guest services, fostering repeat visits.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cafe or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong understanding of culinary terminology and food safety practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic maths skills for processing payments accurately.
- A genuine passion for helping others and providing exceptional service.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
