Join the Rye Chocolates team at Battersea Power Station.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, people-focused individual (who really loves chocolate) to join our growing team. This role is based in our Battersea Power Station kiosk, where you’ll be the friendly face of Rye Chocolates — chatting with customers, serving up delicious drinks, and keeping everything running smoothly.
- The role
- 8 hours a day, 1 day per week
- Plus occasional holiday/absence cover
- Part-time, permanent position
- Full training provided in our signature hot chocolates (previous barista experience preferred)
- What we’re looking for
- People-focused, enthusiastic and reliable
- Comfortable working independently (often you’ll be running the kiosk solo)
- Strong attention to detail, clear communication and high standards of cleanliness
- Barista experience a big plus — but a passion for chocolate is essential!
- Must be 18+
- Key responsibilities
- Welcoming customers, sharing our story & guiding them through our range of chocolates
- Making our signature chocolate drinks, plus teas and coffees
- Opening and closing the kiosk
- Maintaining order, stock rotation, and a sparkling-clean workspace
- Following hygiene procedures & checklists
- Communicating stock levels clearly
- Building loyalty through excellent customer service
