Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries
- Prepare and serve food items while adhering to food safety regulations
- Operate coffee machines and perform barista duties as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the sales area and food preparation stations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring basic math skills are applied for processing payments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
- Manage time effectively to meet customer demands during peak hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is advantageous
- Barista experience is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable
- Skills in food preparation and serving techniques are beneficial
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment
- A friendly disposition with strong communication skills to engage with customers
