Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Waitress to join our team. As a Barista/ Waitress, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including workstations and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Manage customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and helpful service.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer any questions regarding menu items.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for cash handling and order processing.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
