We’re Snakebite Coffee Co, a small-batch roastery and coffee bar in Beverley making big flavour coffee without the corporate rubbish. We roast it, we brew it, and we serve it with a bit of edge, and a focus on sustainability and strong ethics!
We’re looking for someone who’s up for more than just pulling shots. This is about joining a tiny, tight-knit crew that runs on caffeine, loud music, and making customers feel like mates.
What you’ll be doing:
- Slinging espressos, filters, and whatever else we dream up, all roasted in-house.
- Keeping the bar looking sharp (because no one wants to drink great coffee next to yesterday’s crumbs).
- Talking to people like a human being, not a script.
- Serving up pastries/snacks and making sure everything’s up to hygiene standards.
- Taking payments and not losing count when there’s a queue out the door.
- Chipping in wherever you’re needed.
Who you are:
- You actually care about good coffee (and want to keep learning).
- You’ve got a bit of hustle and can handle busy without stressing out.
- You’re chatty in a genuine way, you can have a laugh with regulars and make newcomers feel welcome.
- You don’t need babysitting when it’s quiet, you just get on with it.
We’re not looking for “just another barista.” We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a small business with personality, energy, and a roastery full of beans (literally).

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.44-£15.21 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 35 per week
