As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining spaces to comply with food safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and offering recommendations.
- Operate the cash register, handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
