We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our brand new cat cafe in South London. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards during food preparation and service.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering any queries they may have.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café or food service environment is essential
- Love for animals (especially cats) is a must.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing orders effectively.
- A passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
