Our cosy café in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town is well known not just for its espresso, but also for our extensive tea selection, which our lovely regulars absolutely adore.
We’re currently looking for a friendly, hard-working all-rounder to become the newest member of our small, supportive team.
About the role:
This is more than just a barista position – it’s a hands-on, varied role where everyone shares responsibilities. We all muck in and support each other to keep things running smoothly. Full training will be provided, and your day-to-day could include:
- Making coffee and tea (latte art skills are a bonus, but not essential!)
- Preparing food
- Clearing tables and keeping the café looking its best
- Washing up
- Opening and closing the café
- Handling the till and doing the end-of-day cash-up
- Most importantly – offering brilliant customer service with a friendly face!
We’d love to hear from someone who is:
~ Passionate about people (and coffee or tea – or both!)
~ Willing to learn – experience is welcome, but not essential
~ Calm and efficient, especially when it gets busy
~ Kind, respectful, and a real team player
~ Flexible, responsible, and full of positive energy
