We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and a commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Bartender/Waiter, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests feel welcome and satisfied throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our standards.
- Assist guests with any inquiries regarding the menu or specials.
- Upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining areas throughout service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring satisfaction.
- Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen operations.
Skills
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is advantageous.
- Understanding of food safety regulations to ensure compliance in all aspects of service.
- Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow servers.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
