Job Opportunity: BAR WAITER/WAITRESS (Full-time position)
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team!
This position is for a new, high quality, stylish bar and music venue in Peterborough city centre, located close to Cathedral Sq. Due to open Summer 2025, this venue is set to become a fantastic hub for socialising and (real) music in the city centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high customer service standards
- Craft a variety of cocktails with precision and creativity
- Create a friendly, welcoming and safe environment for all guests
- Preparation of small plates of food
- Restocking tasks and preparing the bar for service
- Ensure the bar and venue as a whole is kept clean and organised
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- This position will report directly to the Bar Supervisor, and also to the Bar Manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous bar experience if possible, especially in cocktail preparation
- A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Comfortable working a set shift pattern (three on, three off)
